Viv Higgins has been a Property Investor/Developer since 1989. His first property venture was a 3 bed semi-detached house that he purchased in the Midlands for £26,000. His first tenants only stayed six months, but then he attracted a group of friends who rented the property as multi-occupancy. Viv realised then, that

 

with the huge sum of money he was making on his first investment (making three times the amount of his then monthly mortgage payments) that this was going to be the start of him becoming a seasoned Landlord. As he worked full-time Viv went on to buy more properties.

Eventually, managing the many properties Viv owned in his property portfolio became time consuming and so La Casa Limited was formed.

La Casa was established four years ago because Viv wanted to be able to pass on to other Landlords his valuable experience & expertise, in a professional environment where he could identify and deal with issues on a day-to-day basis for many landlord clients. The business has rapidly grown, still delivering a personal service, that is unrivalled by most of his contemporaries, in areas covering sales, lettings and management.

The company are affiliated members of National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP) under National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA). They are also regulated & bonded agents for Tenancy Deposits and have a redress scheme under Property Ombudsman.

The hugely efficient & experienced team currently manage many different types of properties, without the restraints of a geographical catchment area. The majority of their lettings are filled within 10 days from signed instruction.

Viv has appeared on BBC TV for “Homes Under the Hammer” and also “The Unsellables”.

He has been a speaker at the Landlord & Buy-to-Let Exhibitions in Olympia, London and Manchester Central.

He is regularly asked to be a guest speaker at Council Events, more recently at Beat the Credit Crunch seminar organised by Lewisham Council in May 2009.
