IAN POTTER, OPERATIONS MANAGER OF ARLA:

 

Ian spent 16 years as a partner in a letting agency before joining ARLA. From 1993 to 2006 he was a National Council Member for ARLA where his responsibilities included finance and compliance matters, as well as being involved with the conception of Buy-to-Let. Ian has a keen understanding of the issues facing landlords, agents and tenants and represents ARLA on various bodies with interest in tenancy deposit protection. Ian is also member of various working parties and stakeholder groups with interest in the private rented sector. Previous to lettings, Ian worked in banking for over 20 years where he built up a strong knowledge of the politics of lending.
